At installation, the push of a button tells this luminaire to read its total light output.
As the sun rises, the sensor recognizes the increasing light level and dims the luminaire to maintain the 100% calibrated
level. Once the sun provides 100% of the necessary light, the luminaire shuts off. As the sun sets, the sensor
reads the decreasing light and brings up the luminaire to maintain the 100% light level.

The sensor reads only light in its
own field and is not fooled by short intervals of light from headlights or elevators. Making maximum use of the sun,
there is no more efficient way to utilize the natural light.
Assuming 12 hours downtime per day,
the initial cost of this option is usually recovered in less than 12 months. With the 60,000 hour rating of these luminaires,
that’s more than 13 years of savings. See our low bay fact sheet for light color choices, outputs, power data,
mounting options, optics, and finish selections.
