A major advantage of the SSL technology
is the “directional” nature of the light source. This provides the ability to control and contour
light in ways not possible with conventional lighting technologies. Light can be spread wide or contained.
Output patterns can be round, square, or rectangular and can be utilized to provide a semi-custom solution to standard installations.
Shown Left: Far left, a narrower optic is used to highlight the automobiles (as in a showroom). Near left, the wider optic provides a more uniform lighting level for an area such as a parking garage. Both examples are using the same amount of power with a different optic. |
